 What grades require Hearing, Vision and Scoliosis Screenings?
According to the State of California, Hearing and Vision tests are performed when students attend Kindergarten, 2nd, 5th and 8th grades. Scoliosis screening is performed on 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys.
 
Is it mandatory to do a Physical Exam for my child?
Yes, the State of California requires students to have a Physical Exam completed when they enter 1st Grade.
 
Is my child required to have a Dental Exam before entering kindergarten?
No, but it is recommended to have dental exams annually.
 
What health documents do I need to register my child for school?
The following health documentation is required for enrollment. More details on the enrollment process can be found here.
    • Proof of tuberculosis (TB) skin test within the last 12 months (including date given, date read, and results)
    • Proof of immunizations: 4 Polio, 5 DTP, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, 2 Varicella, 1 Tdap (required only for 7th/8th grades)
